Abstract
Some relationships describing the angular correlation and polarization effects in the production and subsequent decay of particles of arbitrary spins are given. They are specialized to the cases of production and decay of particles of spin ½ and . Expressions for the angular distribution and polarization of the decay products are reduced to tractable forms involving the physical vectors of the problem and a minimal number of parameters describing the production and decay interactions. The information that may be obtained from the analysis of the angular correlations of the decay products is discussed.
