Abstract
A method for presenting the heart rate from intact and isolated preparations as a kymographic record is described. A transistorised impulse generator with either an integral or independent power supply is used to activate a Thorp impulse counter. The ability of the instrument to follow a wide range of heart rate changes and to measure rates in the usually encountered laboratory species is demonstrated. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
