Abstract
We compute the one and two body distribution functions of both two and three dimensional one component plasmas near a flat dielectric hard wall, in the weak coupling limit. In two dimensions, we use a well known scheme in which all the electrostatic forces are treated perturbatively. In three dimensions, the image forces can no longer be treated perturbatively and we derive a new formalism appropriate to this case. Keywords
