Theory of Disordered Ternary Alloys at Intermediate Temperatures

Abstract
Expressions for the short-range-order parameters for disordered ternary alloys are given as functions of the system composition and the static two-body configurational potentials of arbitrary range. These expressions are exact to the order (TcT)3, where Tc is of the order of the highest temperature at which the system is expected to have any long-range order. A procedure for the computation of this temperature Tc is outlined. It is noted that the present approximation removes an obvious inadequacy of an earlier linear-approximation treatment.
