Abstract
Pediatricians are often called upon to prescribe physical and occupational therapy service for children with motor disabilities. This statement defines the context in which rehabilitation therapies should be prescribed, emphasizing the identification and enhancement of the child's function and abilities. The statement encourages the pediatrician to work with teams including the parents, child, teachers, therapists, and other physicians.Keywords
