Abstract
Skin and soft tissue necrosis is an uncommon but increasingly recognized complication of coumarin anticoagulant therapy. A patient is described with extensive involvement of all 4 extremities and the nose, requiring amputation of 3 extremities. The characteristic clinical features of the disorder are reviewed, with a discussion of the pathology, pathogenesis and possible treatment modalities. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
