Abstract
The pervasive urban annoyances resulting from social utilization of the urban site are a factor to be included in a consideration of the social organization of the metropolis. An investigation of the genesis and distribution of such hazards, as well as population reactions to them, has significance for both the study of urban social organization and environmental health. Keywords
