Abstract
A high speed monolithic WDM detector for 1.5 µm wavelength light is reported. Formed by integrating an InP planar-waveguide reflection-grating demultiplexer with a waveguide-fed pin detector array, the eight channel WDM detector displays a bandwidth of 10 GHz for signals spaced at 3.6 nm in the 1.5 µm wavelength fibre band. Keywords
