Abstract
This paper deals with the fluorescence spectra and absorption spectra of the two known forms of uranyl acetate and of thirteen double uranyl acetates as they appear when excited at the temperature of liquid air. The essential identity of the spectra of the double acetates of lithium, potassium, calcium, manganese and strontium, both as regards the location of the principal bands and the structure of the fluorescence groups is established and the deviations from this type occurring in the spectra of the uranyl acetates containing barium, ammonium, rubidium, sodium, magnesium, zinc, silver and lead are considered. Keywords
