Abstract
All available information on malaria vector species of the Anopheles (Cellia) punctulatus complex in the British Solomon Islands Protectorate is presented. Particular emphasis is placed on the distribution of 3 species, Anopheles punctulatus Don., A. farauti Lav., and A. koliensis Owen, based on a comprehensive survey of all the inhabited islands of the Protectorate. Comments are provided on the apparent effects of DDT residual house spraying on the vector species.
