Abstract

Uses the method developed by Achiam and Kosterlitz (1978) to obtain the dynamical critical exponent of the one-dimensional q-state Potts model. The author finds z=3 (q>2) and z=2 (q=2), thus confirming lower-bound estimates found previously.
