Determination of Balloon Surface in Textile Machines—A Finite Segment Approach

Abstract
This paper describes an application of the finite-segment technique to the study of balloon in textile machines. The method is applicable to many textile processes and is very useful for correct designing of the related machines. Experimental results, which in general agree with the theoretical ones, are also reported.
