DSC Studies of Glassy Behavior in P-Doped a-Si:H

Abstract
Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) studies of P-doped hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) show characteristic behaviors of glass transition phenomena as frequently found in conventional melt-quenched glasses. The glass transition temperature (T g) detected by DSC agrees well with the equilibration temperature (T E) determined by the temperature dependence of dc conductivity. Regarding the influence of hydrogen content, T g decreases as hydrogen content increases.
