Abstract
A method using two dimension block-pulse functions for estimating the parameters, and initial and boundary conditions of a class of non-linear distributed systems is presented. Compared with Walsh function approaches, it is more convenient for computer use and is simpler in form. Appropriate examples are included to illustrate the use of the proposed method. Keywords
