Abstract
A new principle for optimising wavevector conservation and phase-matching in organic based guided wave devices is proposed and demonstrated. Fine tuning of grating coupling into a poly-4BCMU waveguide is demonstrated using controlled changes in the refractive index by photobleaching.Keywords
