Abstract
The coro-nary sinus and the middle cardiac vein were successfully in-tubated into 9 individuals by means of the Cournand catheter. The O2 contents of coronary venous blood were significantly below those of both right auricular and ventricular blood. The difference between the O2 contents of peripheral arterial blood and of coronary venous blood varied from 11.3-18.7 vols. %.Keywords
