Abstract
The results of treatment by radiation of carcinoma of the maxillary antrum are given for the years 1932–1941, with particular reference to a simplified method of radium treatment used in the latter half of that period. This consists simply of the insertion of a single tube of radium into the tumour—an operation practically free from immediate risk. The types of tumour for which this method is contra-indicated are mentioned. Keywords
