Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the methodology employed by Divale and Harris (1976) in their paper, "Population, Warfare and the Male Supremacist Complex". It argues that their sampling and statistical pro cedures are incorrect, and that their hypotheses cannot be tested on the data as presented. Keywords
