Abstract
An unusual case of response to photic stimulation is presented, together with the electroencephalographic findings. The described phenomena include hallucinations, amblyopia, an organic mental syndrome, photic activation, and photoconvulsive responses. The significance of the term photic activation is discussed. Keywords
