Abstract
A bacterium able to produce wide-spectrum antibiotic substances was isolated from a plant extract. The antibiotic-producing bacterium was identified as Pseudomonas reptilivora after suitable morphological and biochemical assays. Optimal yield conditions for antibiotic production in liquid medium have been established. Keywords
