Abstract
A peritoneal dialysate containing .beta.-cyclodextrin accelerated the removal of i.v. administered phenobarbital in rats. High concentrations of .beta.-cyclodextrin were toxic to the animals in the single exchange technique employed. The renal toxicity was estimated by measuring blood urea nitrogen values in the rats following oral and i.p. administration of the cyclic amylose. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
