Double layer contribution to diffusion effects in colloids

Abstract
A simple theoretical expression is introduced to account for the contribution, to the diffusion process, of double layer interactions between the particles of a colloidal dispersion. This double layer contribution is found to be comparable with that derived from thermal interactions.Keywords
