Abstract
Dubious improvement occurred in the wave length discrimination of one of 13 subjects under vit. A adm. (50,000 units/day); dubious improvement occurred in the Ishihara response of another patient. Over half of those tested who were deficient in the Ishihara test had normal wave length discrimination. Two dichromats did no worse with the Ishihara test than several subjects who had normal wave length discrimination. The Ishihara test seems to evaluate a complex psychic bent rather than a sensory deficiency. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
