Abstract
Collections of Permian Brachiopoda from the Maubisse Formation outcrops near the village of Bisnain, West Timor, are described and figured. New taxa are Callytharrella khalii sp. nov. and Elivina bisnaini sp. nov. The assemblage is considered to be a correlative of the fauna of the Callytharra Formation of Western Australia and a Sterlitamakian (late Sakmarian) age is indicated. The collections come from outcrop and hence provide reliable data on the faunal associations. Keywords
