Abstract
A liquid membrane soap or surfactant sensitive electrode capable of working throughout the pH range 1–13 has been developed. The active substance of the electrode is the ion-association complex of dodecylbenzene sulphonate with bisdimethylglyoxime-o-phenanthroline-cobaltate(III). The electrode enables soap or surfactant titration depending on the pH.Keywords
