Abstract
A case of gastric ulcer perforated into the left ventricle is described. A hiatus hernia was present and the ulcer was located in the intrathoracic portion of the stomach. The patient, a 76-year-old woman, died for massive bleeding into the gastrointestinal tract; the left ventricle was the probable source of the bleeding.
