Abstract
Crop surface temperatures were measured with infrared thermometers at various viewing angles and for a range of solar zenith angles. The temperature readings of crops with continuous and uniform canopies were not related to the above angles. In the case of open row crops, the side of the row facing the sun was 1 to 3 C warmer than the shaded side.Keywords
