Abstract
Disorganization characterizes children with attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) and appears to contribute to their failure to complete school and homework tasks. However, the empirical data in this area are virtually nonexistent. A practical measure was needed as an initial step in this direction. Thus, an organizational scale was developed and field tested. Specific deficits in the organization of events and objects were found for youth with hyperactivity relative to comparisons. The results are of heuristic value in the assessment and treatment of youth with hyperactivity. Keywords
