Abstract
The O saturation of the arterial blood of hibernating marmots, studied by the differential method, was 93.5-96.4%. The O equilibrium of the red corpuscles was subject to changes in relation to alterations of the temp. of the hibernating animal. The blood sugar was definitely reduced as compared with summer contents but never reached any marked deficiency. The sensitivity of the skin to stimulation by hair brushes was markedly decreased during sleep. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
