Abstract
The combination of the automated sample handling capabilities of flow injection analysis combined with detection by attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy is presented. This automated system is used to quantitate aliphatic esters, such as dioctylsulfosuccinate, in aqueous solutions at the mg levels. Fairly high reproducibility, 1 to 5%, at a rate of at least 25 samples per hour is possible. Keywords
