Abstract
A photoelectric attachment for a polarimeter has been assembled and tested for precision. The instrument utilizes common electronic components and can be used in conjunction with a visual-type polarimeter. When used with a Rudolph model 80 polarimeter, the precision of repeated measurements was better than 0.001 circular deg. The measurement technique used in the testing process is described. Keywords
