Abstract
Vapor−phase Raman spectra have been recorded for three cyclic organosilane molecules. Ten Δv=2 transitions were observed between 90 and 180 cm−1 for silacyclobutane; seven were recorded for silacyclobutane−1,1−d2. The undeuterated compound also shows a difference band series in the CH2 stretching region. For silacyclopent−3−ene a difference band series originating from an olefinic C−H stretching mode was recorded. All the spectra confirm previous assignments of far−infrared spectra. Keywords
