Differential cross sections of low-energy electron-helium scattering

Abstract
The differential cross sections for the scattering of low-energy electrons by helium atoms have been calculated using the R-matrix method with partial waves up to L=4. Results for the elastic collision and excitations to the 23S and 21S states of He are presented and compared with experiment.Keywords
