Abstract
A case of pseudosarcomatous carcinoma of the esophagus with metastasis to lymph node was presented and the literature was reviewed briefly. Transition from carcinomatous to sarcomatous picture was noted and the presence of tonofibrils and deemosomes was demonstrated by electron microscope in the cells with sarcomatous features. These Andings suggested an epithelial origin of the sarcomatous component in pseudosarcomatoue cardnoma. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
