Abstract
The authors report an interferometric signal processing technique for the interrogation of in-fibre Bragg gratings that uses only a short OPD scan, yielding a practical wavelength resolution of 0.005 nm. This is used to make an unambiguous measurement of quasi-static strain in a composite panel with a resolution of 3.5 µɛ.Keywords
