Abstract
The prevalence of veneral disease among homosexual men was investigated by looking at non-clinic patients from Sweden, Australia, Finland and the Republic of Ireland. Results showed significant differences between nationalities in the incidence of syphilis, gonorrhea, other sexually transmitted diseases (STD), number of variables of presentation to STD clinics, and number of infections. Data were interpreted as indicating that social and cultural factors may influence incidence of STD in male homosexuals. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
