Theorem for Energy-Weighted Averages of Spectroscopic Factors

Abstract
It is shown that for a system with strong correlations, the centroid of the spectroscopic amplitudes for particle removal is given by the single-particle energy (defined appropriately) times the occupation probability of the orbit.Keywords
