Fournier’s Gangrene: Report of 20 Patients

Abstract
During the last 10 yr 20 patients with Fournier''s gangrene were treated; a definite urologic or colorectal cause was identified as the source of the infection [bacterial]; in 19 (95%). Despite the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics and aggressive surgical debridement the mortality rate was 45%.This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
