Abstract
Simultaneous evolution of hydrogen and oxygen gases was achieved by visible light irradiation of water containig prussian blue and tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) complex. The gases evolved were analyzed by gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy. The mechanism for the water photolysis was also discussed. Keywords
