Abstract
The effects of impingement of submerged water jets on a nonuniform stream bed were studied through laboratory experiments and theoretical analysis. The variables are jet diameter, jet velocity, jet angle and the impinging height. The effects on the nonuniform stream bed are scoured depth, armored depth, cleaned depth, and width. The data was correlated through the jet impingement diameter and a dimensionless impingement number. Keywords
