Tel-Tak: A Mechanical Method for Estimating Both Tackiness and Stickiness of Rubber Compounds

Abstract

A simple method for measuring quantitatively tack and stickiness of rubber compounds has been developed. It may also be used to measure adhesion of tapes, adhesives etc. successfully. Results are in agreement with subjective evaluation of these properties.
