Abstract
As a result of new advances in silica bead processing technology, high-pressure solvent transport systems, high-pressure injection valve construction and ultra-sensitive detectors, recent data for polymeric materials has been obtained in less than 20 minutes using 2 mm and 5 mm, i.d., columns with a chromatographic system showing good flow-rate and elution volume reproducibility, resolving power, quantitative accuracy and column efficiency in contrast to the 2 to 4 hours normally required using synthetic, high-pressure sensitive gels and current low-pressure commercially available instrumentation. Keywords
