Abstract
SUMMARY: Further investigation of pigments produced by Mycobacterium tuberculosis BCG exposed to isoniazid established that the compounds were not derived from isoniazid itself. One compound was identified as riboflavine but quantitative comparison of isoniazid sensitive and resistant organisms led to the conclusion that the release of riboflavine was not relevant to the mode of action of isoniazid. Keywords
