Abstract
Postmenopausal bleeding was investigated in 25 patients without endometrial carcinoma or hyperplasia, using the panoramic hysteroscope to view the uterine cavity. The cause of bleeding was observed to be from petechial haemorrhagic areas which were occasionally confluent. The endometrium was atrophic. No curettings were obtained in the majority of these patients. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
