Abstract
A general expression has been derived by perturbation theory for the long-range nuclear spin-spin coupling constant in a six-electron (three bond) system. This expression is used to evaluate the dependence of proton spin-spin coupling constant (J HH) on dihedral angle (Φ) in the ethane fragment.Keywords
