Finger oscillations as indices of emotion. II. Further validation and use in detecting deception.

Abstract
Finger oscillations made by college students while being subjected to mild emotional situations were recorded and measured according to methods previously described. Marked quantitative or qualitative changes sometimes occurred in the finger movements when the subjects lied and when other emotional situations were presented. No such changes occurred when truthful answers were given or when the subjects were permitted to sit quietly. The digitalgraph is not recommended as a substitute for, but rather as a supplement to other indicators of emotion.
