Abstract
Magnetic-field specific-heat measurements on a nearly stoichiometric TmSe sample are reported. The paramagnetic regime is characterized by a high linear temperature term, , independent of the magnetic field; the magnetically "ordered" phase shows a drop in even when the resistivity jump below is destroyed by the magnetic field and the resistivity lies below its room-temperature value.
