Specific-heat measurements of TmSe

Abstract
Magnetic-field specific-heat measurements on a nearly stoichiometric TmSe sample are reported. The paramagnetic regime is characterized by a high linear temperature term, γ, independent of the magnetic field; the magnetically "ordered" phase shows a drop in γ even when the resistivity jump below TN is destroyed by the magnetic field and the resistivity lies below its room-temperature value.
