Abstract
The authors present the results of extensive new calculations of the thermodynamics of strong coupling superconductors with structures in the electronic density of states (EDOS) around the Fermi surface. For the first time they treat Lorentzian peaks with Fermi energy off-centre as well as centred and also consider valleys. It is found that in some cases energy dependence in the EDOS can lead to large differences in thermodynamic properties for the same electron-phonon spectral shape and critical temperature. Keywords
