Abstract
Quantitative changes in the synthesis of Hb types in rat peripheral erythrocytes and in the cells of the bone marrow erythrocytic series after a single blood loss were studied. Increased synthesis of given Hb types was found in the peripheral cells 5-7 days after blood loss. These changes were already detected in the bone marrow cells 24 h after blood loss. The question of the probable site and level of the origin of altered Hb synthesis is discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
