Abstract
From the study by differential thermal analysis under high pressure (up to 1250 bars) of CCl4 dispersed within emulsions the volume of the drops being a few micron cubes, it has been possible to determine experimentally the domain on the P-T phase diagram where the two stable and the two metastable phases exist. It has also been found that the most probable degrees of supercooling increase with pressure. From the results obtained, the changes of molar volume between phases have been deduced. Keywords
